Hulgol is a typical Western Ghat village, well known for spice-growing and close to the market town of Sirsi. Explore the fascinating hamlet and spice gardens with your own guide, trek to 10th century temples and forts and enjoy picnics by rivers. You stay in the Spice House, a guesthouse on the fringes of the hamlet. This comfortable traditional-style bungalow, owned and run by the community, offers three twin-bedded rooms, and the food here is made using local produce and is freshly prepared by local people.
